26 Apr

This garden tool cart has 18 slots for long and medium handled tools and a four compartment weatherproof fabric pouch for smaller hand tools, a foldaway bag rim holds bags open too!!

Visit Garden Time for more information.

These garden carts have become really popular the last few years.  They have lowering side walls, four all rubber tires, and a steerable handle.  Only dilemma you may find yourself in, is when you have to manually haul a load up hill.  Good exercise though!

Lawn: Roll Out Grass

22 Apr

Most of our lawns are now in full bloom and growing like wild fire. We’ve had plenty of rain and plenty of sun. So, what do you do if you have one of those lawns where every year, you have pockets of dead grass; where nothing seems to want to grow?

Have you tried reseeding and fertilizers every year and it still didn’t help?

One thing you might want to try this year is the Roll Out Grass. It’s fairly simple – just take the woven roll, spread it on the portion of lawn you want grass to grow on, then water it from time to time.

For the price and time it takes to place on your lawn, it looks like a pretty good deal…pending the results your looking for.

Garden Ponds

19 Apr

When it comes to adding water features to your backyard garden or patio, you may want to consider either a fountain or pond.

With everyone having a busy schedule these days, most people, when opting for the pond, choose the prefab ponds. You can still build your own and form the base of your pond if you want, but if you want to speed the process along, there are tons of stores that sell prefab ponds. Once you decide on the one you want, simply install it, then begin decorating it with the look and feel that you want.

Below are several photos of ponds people have installed themselves.

16 Apr

With Summer on it’s way, it’ll take linger and longer for the sun to set, but you may also find you’re spending more time outside, enjoying the weather and your patio.

When the sun does set, you’ll want to have some kind of lighting. We’ve provided a few photos to give you an idea of what can be done to both provide light and the decorative look you may want.

Options include:

Traditional strung lighting

Lamps

Solar powered lights (common for walkways)

Exterior, All weather Lamps

Potted Lamps

The potted lamps are great, they both function as decoration and lighting, while also providing room for a small plant to grow.
