Tree trimming equipment.

Tree trimming is something you can hire a contractor to do or you can choose to do it yourself. If you choose to do it yourself, it is best to pick high quality equipment. How great the tree looks after the trimming will depend on the types of tools you will use. Here are some steps that will help you with choosing the right equipment.
First, you will need tools for climbing trees such as harnesses, ropes, rigging gear, etc. This equipment is very important and you should not skimp on price. It will keep you from falling out of the tree while working.
You will want a pair of climbing boots which will keep you from being scraped while climbing. The boots will also protect you from a chainsaw and other tools.
High quality hand saws and pruners are important as well. Equipment should have long lasting blades or you will have to replace them often. You will need a couple of pole saws and pruners. These items will keep you from having to climb too high in the tree.
You can store your equipment in scabbards and sheaths when not in use. This will also protect your hands while they are stored if you accidentally grab your food.
Invest in power tools with safety features like a second braking system. On a chain saw, a chain guard will help your hands not to come in contact with the chain, should it break.
More on ridding yourself of weeds.

If you are not interested in putting chemicals in your garden and you really don’t want to pull weeds by hand, then you may be interested in some of the other methods that can be used:
Boiling water is said to kill weeds as well as the seeds. Just be sure not to spill any on the plants themselves or they will die.
Mulch can prevent weeds from growing at all, but can also smother and kill existing weeds. Two to three inches of mulch will eliminate weeds and hold water in garden soil.
You can add around five tablespoons of liquid dish soap to four cups of water and mix it up. Put it in a spray bottle and spray on weeds on a hot day.
Add between one and five tablespoons of alcohol and add to four cups of water mixed in a spray bottle and spray on the weeds.
Put undiluted vinegar in a spray bottle and use it. Be careful not to get any on the plants, as it will kill them as well.
Cornmeal gluten will kill weeds before they sprout. This will not hurt your grass at all.
If you are not interested in organic ways to kill out your weeds, chemicals are another choice. Please remember that these chemicals will kill other plants as well so be very careful.
Roundup and Weed-B-Gone are among the most popular chemicals. They are effective and kill the weeds at the roots as well as the top. They will also kill the next round of weeds and can work for several months.
As for a weed control plan, if you choose to use chemicals in your yard, be sure to keep pets and children out of the yard for a couple of days. This is a great way to rid yourself of those pestie weeds in your lawn. However, if you are talking about your garden and you are worried about the plants that you would like to keep you may want to try the organic methods first. Herbicide residue is not very nutritious.
